A disturbing 73% of brokers and intermediaries do not have access to the Internet at their place of business, according to a recent survey by motor trade insurer Road Runner.

The survey questioned Road Runner's 1200 brokers and intermediaries about their use of the Internet in their daily business. Only 27% of those questioned said they regularly used the Internet for business purposes.

Brokers and intermediaries were more open to the idea of using the Internet to purchase insurance, with 45%
