Three quarters of brokers have, or are developing, a website,
according to an e-commerce survey conducted by the British Insurance
Brokers Association.


The survey, representing 31% of BIBA's 2000 or so members, found two
thirds of the websites provide information only, with a smaller proportion
being interactive. However, this is likely to change as more than half the
sites still in development were described as "customer interactive".


When asked to give a single definition of e-commerce, nearly 40
