The first annual salary survey carried out for Professional Broking'ssister title, Post Magazine, and AXA Insurance, distributed with this
issue, has highlighted some revealing facts about players in the general
insurance industry. For example, most of the sample, which comprises
brokers, intermediaries and insurers, say they are content with their
salaries, which average at £33,000 a year. 51% however, fear redundancy
and a staggering 95% suffer from stress directly induced by their
work.
