Broker Direct has launched an 'online trading market' called Schemeshop to enable shareholding brokers, who can't afford to develop their own websites from scratch, to trade online and gain cheaper access to specialist schemes.
Brokers who want to register and place a scheme on the 'market' will have a quotation engine built for them by NSC, Broker Direct's technology partner in the new venture. Registration is free but brokers will have to pay a fee for the quotation engine, which will vary
