Roderick Lawrie, the original owner of the multi million pound patent for online comparative services has warned of damaging repercussions to brokers if Polaris refuses to pay for allegedly infringing the patent's original design.
Hextalls Solicitors, acting on behalf of Mr Lawrie and his wife Barbara Lawrie, the current owner of the patent, is about to send a written ultimatum to Polaris demanding they pay up or shut down imarket. It is understood, however, that Mr Lawrie has not yet seen the
