As usual, there was a good mixture of the informative, gossipy, obtuse and funny posts on the Broker Forum this month. To begin with, Royal Bank of Scotland Insurance was highlighted for not excluding non-motoring convictions from its car policies. Some thought this was asking for trouble while others pointed out that it was a commercial decision and entirely up to the underwriters. However, the general consensus was that it was a bit short-sighted.
Next up was a discussion on fines and bans
