“Best result in a decade” for Aviva GI

Focus on simplification, digitisation and broker relationships drives growth for the insurer.

Aviva has driven growth in its GI division by supporting its brokers and improving trust levels in the commercial and personal lines space.

UK & Ireland GI CEO, Adam Winslow, and head of broker distribution, Gareth Hemming, spoke to Insurance Age this morning (12 August) following the publication of Aviva’s half year results.

The group’s GI division reported GWP of £4.4bn, an increase of 6% on the £4.1bn of the first six months of 2020, and a much-improved COR of 91.6% (H1 2020: 101.4%).
