Brokers have got to get back into their client’s circle of trust, says Peter Knowles.
Did I not clearly explain the circle of trust to you?” So asks former CIA agent Jack Byrnes of his daughter’s hapless fiancé in the film Meet The Parents. Byrnes, played by Robert Di Niro, is something of a control freak and has developed the circle of trust concept as a way of managing his family. You’re either in it, or you’re out of it, Byrnes instructs his would-be son-in-law. And once you’re out of it, it’s going to be a tough struggle to get back inside.
