Client view: Brokers must "have your back"
Knowing that a broker has "completely got your back" is a crucial element of professionalism, a long-term client of Darwin Clayton has told Insurance Age.
Mike James, boss of Portsmouth-based shop-fitting company A E Hadley, said he had been with the broker for more than 15 years thanks to the service he has received over the years.
"They have completely got my back," he stated, "It's really reassuring to know they are thinking about what could be around the corner for us.
"I got into this business in 1996 and I have always been with Darwin Clayton. I have never felt exposed when something happens."
Mr James explained that he has an annual review
