Cyber risks are back in the headlines, but can anything protect clients from “demented hackers”?
Never far from the news, two events last month brought cyber insurance back to the fore. At the start of June the National Crime Agency in the UK warned the public that there was just a two-week window to deal with a “powerful computer attack”. According to the government agency, 15,500 computers in the UK were infected by the GameOver Zeus malicious software (malware) which could be used to fraudulently transfer money. It advised a series of steps such as updating security software and running
