The Digital Broker Award celebrates brokers who have put technology at the heart of their businesses. Meet the brokers who are up for winning at the UK Broker Awards.

In the run up to the 2020 UK Broker Awards Insurance Age is profiling all the shortlisted firms and individuals, with today’s focus the Digital Broker Award.

The digitally savvy brokers who successfully bagged a place on the shortlist are:

Arnold Clark Insurance Services – The Edinburgh-based broker is the insurance arm of independent car retailer, Arnold Clarke. It specialises in car, home, travel, lifestyle and pet insurance, and offers short-term cover as well as more traditional insurance policies.

Carrot Insurance - Using the latest in telematics technology, Carrot rewards people for being more responsible behind the wheel. The broker, which is part of Trak Global Group, launched in 2012 with the goal to encourage safe driving and keep the costs down for all drivers.

Smart Sure - Smart-Sure is the brain-child of a group of industry professionals with over 20 years of collective experience, and was launched in October 2011. It offers insurance for gadgets, phones and home appliances and says it aims to provide products based on mutual trust, passion and honesty.

Tempcover - Tempcover provides short term insurance in the UK, and is there to help clients find flexible temporary cover quickly and easily. The broker specialises in short term cover for cars, vans, bikes, learners, impounded vehicles and expats, with customers covered from just an hour up to three months.
