Lloyd’s to reduce UK staff headcount by 10% in Q4
London Market is looking to reduce costs, improve efficiency and drive forward a modern agenda.
Lloyd’s is to cut its headcount by 10% following proposals for its new organisational structure, chief executive Inga Beale said.
In a half-yearly email to employees and the London Market Beale highlighted the need for reducing costs and improving efficiency, as well as “driving forward the modernisation agenda”.
One agenda item is Lloyd’s plan of different ways of working, which would require “different structures” for UK based employees.
