Every year 50,000 businesses are bought and sold in the UK. The vast majority are in the SME segment of the market, which has not previously had a dedicated transaction liability insurance product designed to address its specific needs
However as some insurers have got to grips with the nuances at this micro end and with an addressable market in the UK estimated to be worth around £1.5bn in annual premiums, it presents brokers with a sizable opportunity.
