Businesses could be facing a future liability crisis if they fail to recognise current litigation issues, Lloyd's has warned. Its new report, Directors in the dock - is business facing a liability crisis?, revealed that boards were feeling increasingly challenged by litigation and were spending more time and money addressing these issues. It also said product recalls had become a daily occurrence; shareholder activism was on the rise; and new legislation such as the Corporate Manslaughter Act
