Regional brokers spy growth in real estate

The regional real estate market is in rude health, with six in 10 brokers (56%) reporting growth over the past 12 months, and one in six (16%) reporting significant growth, according to Ecclesiastical.

The insurer surveyed 166 brokers who place real estate business outside of London to get their views on the opportunities and challenges facing them. Just 2% of those surveyed had seen a decrease in their real estate books.

The insurer detailed that investor sentiment in commercial property had bounced back in 2021 and that after the coronavirus pandemic regional brokers were benefiting as investment increased in UK cities.
