Broker-led schemes - inventive and client-focussed, or poor value for money? Proposed legal reforms are likely to put these schemes under pressure to smarten up.

The range and scope of broker-led schemes is, largely, a glowing
testimonial for the inventiveness and client focus of the UK broker
market.


Many of the schemes represent excellent value for money, address specific
client needs and are cleverly marketed to the target groups. Indeed, it is
often the case that without a broker scheme in place, some insurance needs
would be very poorly served, if served at all.


The flip side to this is the existence of schemes that represent poor
value for money, both
