Norwich Union has launched its first new product since its merger
with CGU in 2000.

The insurer-giant is entering the mid net worth market with Tapestry,
aimed at customers who have household contents in excess of £75,000. The
policy offers specialist cover for fine art and antiques and a free home
security visit.

The product replaces CGU's Keynote product and Norwich Union's own
Homelife and Highlife. Policyholders will be converted to Tapestry at
renewal from January.
