Das adds flood and fire offering

Das has launched the latest version of its Loss Assist product to provide assistance for households that have suffered damage to their property or contents due to a major incident such as a flood, fire, theft or storm.

According to the legal expenses provider, the move has been made to meet the concerns of UK households around the rise in the frequency and severity of floods over the years, particularly surface water flooding as well as the threats of theft or fire.

The company argued that a dedicated loss adjuster to help with the assessment, submission and negotiation of the claim on behalf of the policyholder would help insure that losses were paid fairly and on time.
