Blog: Ardonagh's swoop for 'brand Bayles' is a logical one rooted in past success
As Phil Bayles becomes the latest Aviva senior manager to join Ardonagh, Jonathan Swift suggests that having built his 'brand' at the insurer, he is well primed to now make his mark in the broker space.
“My passion for the broker market is well known and makes this an irresistible opportunity. I am proud to have been part of Aviva’s GI executive team… I leave behind a team, a strategy and a business that I am convinced is in great shape to outperform, and which is built on great relationships with brokers and a legacy of being number one.”
These words could have been spoken this week by outgoing Aviva chief distribution officer Phil Bayles following the news he is to depart to join Ardonagh
