Editor's letter - February 2016

“The push to have local, regionally empowered offices has been a consistent mantra in the industry for years now”

RSA closing its Birmingham branch is awful news for all those involved. The insurer has committed to trying to redeploy people within the business wherever possible. With 190 people affected by the consultation hopefully there will be a positive outcome for as many as possible.

The start of a new year is traditionally the time for setting new goals and looking forward. It is hardly something that can be done by staff worried about their jobs and future.
