Esure shareholders to vote on Gocompare demerger
Approval of the demerger depends on a meeting to be held next month.
Esure said its demerger of Gocompare.com will depend on the approval of its shareholders at a general meeting on 1 November this year.
The group confirmed plans that it would spin-off its aggregator site in September through a separate listing on the London Stock Exchange.
Speaking at the time Sir Peter Wood, chairman of Esure Group believed that a demerger of Gocompare.com from Esure would allow both entities to thrive and reach their full potential.
