CII launches flexible working guidelines

Organisation says flexible working can boost employee motivation and productivity.

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has launched a guide for firms looking to introduce flexible working to their employees.

According to the CII, the guidelines were produced in response to a change of legislation in 2014, which gives employees who have reached 26 weeks of consecutive service the right to request flexible working arrangements.

The organisation said that the guide aimed to help business owners and HR professionals to navigate the process around requests for flexible working
