Profits soar by 65% at Henderson

Turnover up to £24.5m for Leeds-based broker.

Henderson Insurance Brokers has reported retained post-tax profits of £1.83m for the year ended 30 April 2014, up 64.8% from the £1.11m achieved in the same period the year before.

Turnover for the firm rose 8.7% to £24.51m (2013: £21.02m) as profit before tax reached £2.6m (2013: £1.66m).

It was the second year of notable rises after the 5% hike in turnover and 13% rise in post-tax retained profits reported last year.

The latest figures, released in a document at Companies House, also showed
