Brightside's Holman: departure is amicable
Martyn Holman has described his upcoming departure from Brightside Group as an amicable split.
Holman stated that his decision to leave the role of Brightside chief executive pre-dated the failure of the takeover bid by Markerstudy in September 2013.
He said: “I have been considering it for some while. Having been here since we set the business up seven years ago, it’s probably time for a change.”
Referring to his resignation, Holman said it was simply "fate of timing" that meant he was leaving so soon after the Markerstudy deal fell through.
