Capita ready to sell insurance business

Capita is reportedly preparing to sell its direct to customer insurance businesses.

Sister title Post has reported that the outsourcing specialist is looking to offload the operation in the wake of disappointing performance. 

According to sources close to the firm, Capita is currently engaged in two sales processes to cut assets, consisting of Lancaster, BDML Connect and Hero, and has appointed Deloitte to manage the process.
