
Aviva Ireland jobs set to be outsourced

The Sunday Business Post reported that there were fears among employees and unions that up to half the 2,000-strong Irish workforce was being targeted in a rationalisation programme set to be realised over the coming weeks.
The article added that senior management at Aviva Ireland were trying to salvage as many jobs as possible, but that European management were the ones making the key decisions.
