Go Compare targets home insurance market


The new advert launches on 18 September 2010 across all commercial TV channels.

Go Compare said the Gio character has been credited with driving a 44% increase in quote volumes for the site since he was first introduced in August 2009, helping to generate in excess of two million insurance quotes each month. It said that the campaign is also attributed with boosting brand awareness by more than 450%.

Go Compare’s head of marketing, Nick Hall, said: “Gio continues to work incredibly well for us.
