Axa household move fills gap in market

Axa has claimed sales of its new household insurance product, Axa Extra, designed to complement its existing portfolio, have been very encouraging.

Axa Extra, launched last month, is a new mid-net worth product which sits between its ABC policies and high-net worth products. Designed to address the needs of affluent 30-50-year-olds, Axa Extra offers an automatic £50,000 of contents cover on a bedroom-rated basis and does not require customers to identify possessions under £10,000. The product
