DAS division expands its after-the-event offering
80e, the ATE trading division of DAS, has enhanced its product range with the addition of new Personal and Business Litigation policies.
The new products extend the reach of the current 80e portfolio beyond personal injury, into areas that include tenancy disputes, debt recovery, professional negligence, and contract disputes on goods and services for both personal and business clients.
Phil Bellamy, 80e operations manager said at launch: "The market for ATE insurance is continuing to develop and we have recognised the need to expand into, and service, areas where people are still finding themselves without cover for their legal costs. This development gives all of our agents the ability to offer a comprehensive range of market leading, cost effective products to their customers."
Under the new scheme all cases will be individually assessed following the completion of a proposal form.
George Bladon, 80e sales manager commented: "As part of this development, we will be providing the necessary training and literature to all agents who wish to offer these products to their personal and business clients."
In addition, the ongoing development of the 80e website means that agents are able to submit and update their cases online. This saves time, and offers an efficient and straightforward case management system which is completely secure and accessible 24 hours a day.
Mr Bladon added: "80e has a highly satisfied client base which we are very proud of and are determined to maintain and increase by offering a combination of excellent service, client support, training and innovative products."
The 80e Personal and Business Litigation products are now available to all 80e agents.
