Brokers' obligations under the Motor Insurance Database (MID) rules have come under renewed scrutiny as the government, in consultation with insurers, proceeds with its plans to step-up the battle against uninsured driving.
Ashton West, chief executive of the Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB), recently highlighted the message that brokers must play a full role in improving compliance in updating the MID and suggested that some seem unaware of the importance of doing so - but are such criticisms
