CII launches cheaper student membership scheme
The Chartered Insurance Institute is launching a reduced-price membership scheme for UK university students to attract more talent to the insurance and financial planning sectors.
Discover membership allows undergraduates and postgraduates to join the CII, or the Personal Finance Society if their interest is in financial advice.
The CII consulted students during a series of on-campus careers events in 2010 and has tailored its offering to ensure the package reflects student feedback about cost, and access to employers when they are looking for their first job.
Membership costs £35 a year and is open to all full-time students of UK universities. Membership to either the
