Personal injury costs continue to be the greatest problem facing motor insurers, according to a report from independent market analyst Datamonitor.
Bodily injury claims resulting from road-traffic accidents are severely impacting on the claims costs faced by motor insurers. Datamonitor forecasts that the total claims bill faced by motor insurers will reach £10.7bn by 2010, up from £8.3bn in 2005.
