The combination of tuition fees and student loans means
undergraduates may be liable for £7000 a year, which must be repaid if the
student de-registers from university. Saxon Direct UK's new Uni-Shield
cover, protects against such losses.

Uni-Shield is in two parts - Fee Shield and Loan Shield, which can be
bought individually. Fee Shield covers liability for tuition fees,
accommodation charges, maintenance grants and some medical cover. Loan
Shield covers liability for outstanding student loans.
