A Chartered title for insurance brokers moves one step closer, with the Chartered Institute of Insurers holding a special general meeting on 28 March.
The Institute is inviting members to pass resolutions to enable the CII to make a formal application to the Privy Council for the granting of the title. The CII anticipates a decision from the Privy Council would be made shortly thereafter, in line with the anticipated date for the repeal of the Insurance Brokers Registration Act.
