The General Insurance Standards Council is to hold a series of
seminars in the autumn, as part of phase two of the consultation
period.


The nationwide seminars will cover the financing and scope of GISC, its
scrutiny committee, and the board's future structure. Chris Woodburn,
chief executive of GISC, said the board hopes to issue a draft rulebook to
those concerned.
