And so The Great Debate is off. What a surprise. Did anyone reallythink that Chris Woodburn and Anthony Howland Jackson of the General
Insurance Standards Council would appear at a debate which was being
driven by the Institute of Insurance Brokers? And also, one would suspect,
organised so that GISC-sceptics could pour scorn on them. Not likely.
With the involvement of Post Magazine's editor-in-chief David Worsfold as
chairman, the debate at least stood a chance of being neutral. However,
