Brokers must continue to support the General Insurance StandardsCouncil, George Nixon, chairman of the British Insurance Brokers'
Association has urged.
Mr Nixon sent out a letter to brokers at the end of October, urging them
to "support GISC and not sign up to the Institute of Insurance Brokers'
alternative".
Mr Nixon was writing in response to the IIB, which launched the Institute
of Insurance Brokers Regulatory Council on 19 October.
