The General Network is set to change its name to that of its parent
by the end of the year, following a strategic review of operations.


Lloyd Hanks, managing director of The General Network, said he was
"virtually certain" the company name would change to The Greatminster
Network to benefit from its parent's brand reputation.


As part of the company's review, TGN has also culled 18 brokers and
intermediaries from the membership. Mr Hanks said the network now has a
