Incoming director general of the Chartered Insurance Institute SandyScott has stressed the need for the CII to move with the times and, where
appropriate, to adopt a more commercial outlook.
Echoing the views of CII president Reg Brown, Mr Scott, who takes over
from David Bland this month, told PB that the institute must be prepared
to adapt in order to survive the "forces of globalisation, consolidation
and convergence". He said: "In any business, you need to fully understand
your customers'
