Broker giant Willis has quashed rumours that it is to float on the
stock market for a second time.


Chairman and chief executive officer Joe Plumeri told the Financial Times:
"We have not retained Goldman Sachs or any other merchant banks to advise
on floating. Going public again - that's in the aspirational category. One
day we'd aspire to do it but there is nothing concrete to report."


Mr Plumeri also denied that his company is to merge with Jardine Lloyd
Thompson, stating: "We are not - and so
