The Institute of Financial Services has launched a new qualification
for general insurance brokers.


The Certificate of Regulated General Insurance aims to meet future
regulatory requirements for training and competence. The exam takes two
hours and costs £100 per person.


Tony Tudor, director at IFS, said the key attraction of the new
qualification was the ease of entrance and examination, as CeRGI can be
taken at 150 centres across the UK.


The IFS is also offering its Certificate in Financial
