CIGNA is targeting manufacturers of medical equipment with the launchof its Medequip Plus policy. Cover includes: product liability, product
recall expense as standard, workplace violence, directors and officers,
and a range of property and business interruption cover.
Cigna will provide advice on issues such as labelling, user instructions,
safety design and international standards as part of the cover. The
insurer is also launching a new legal liability cover called Select
