Financially literate consumers, simpler products and pricing
transparency will mean intermediaries have to work harder for their money,
according to Ron Sandler.


Mr Sandler's speech, one of his first since his report into UK financial
services was published, signalled a tough government stance on pricing
transparency and training. He said: "We need to do something about the
complexity of the market. The products may be complicated, but things
don't have to be made worse with jargon. Intermediaries
