Insurance giants Norwich Union and Axa have reportedly refused to
renew policyholders' construction cover over fears for the safety of
composite panels as a building material. These panels - in which an inner
layer is sandwiched between outer layers of a different material - have
been approved by the Loss Prevention Council.
