Ecclesiastical Insurance has bought the Ansvar Group of companiesoperating in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. At the time of going to
press, the deal was due to be completed by the end of November.
Ansvar will continue to trade as a separate company, with its products
retaining the Ansvar name as well as being branded to the Ecclesiastical
Group.
Graham Doswell, managing director of Ecclesiastical, said: "The first step
will be to see what benefits can be achieved when Ansvar's existing
products
