After spotting the potential of franchising in the early 1980's, Coversure has rapidly expanded across the country and plans to establish a network of offices abroad. Angela Faherty reports.
The Coversure Insurance Services group was established in October1986 by Mark Coverdale. Mr Coverdale is now chairman of the company, which
is set to open its 71st franchise office this month in Glasgow.
Nick Hollands, agency director at Coversure, hopes the company's growth in
the North will continue. "Most of our offices are in the southern half of
the country but the few in the North have the most success," he says.
"This suggests there is a lot of growth potential."
