Members of the Institute of Insurance Brokers have reacted withconcern to the General Insurance Standards Council's consultation
document.
In an IIB broker regulation survey, which received responses from 1043
firms, 61.9% expressed the belief that the GISC would be commercially
detrimental to insurance broking interests.
Concern was also expressed about the council's proposal to impose
collective agency cancellations on brokers and intermediaries as an
