Dedication's what you need.

UK adjusters, often using dedicated teams, are reliant on brokers' input when an insured makes a major claim, says David Fanning.

When UK adjusters are instructed on a major loss, they like to
involve the broker as soon as possible. "Communication is the key," says
Alistair Steward, Cunningham Ellis & Buckle's commercial services director
for the Midlands, responsible for the region's major commercial loss
teams.

"We work closely with the broker and establish a relationship early on -
in most cases even before we approach the policyholder."

Brokers are consulted regularly throughout the life of a major loss claim,
says Mr Steward
