Ipswich-based commercial lines broker Poundgates has set up a
telesales operation. The new facility will cross-sell personal lines
products to existing customers and will use the latest technology to
create a customer database. The telesales unit will also provide a range
of customer services and offer advice to policy-holders. All products
deemed too complicated to be sold over the telephone will be sold
face-to-face.
