Markel, Gallagher and NFU team up to create parametric firstA quartet of specialists have joined forces to create what they claim is the UK’s first parametric heat-stress insurance product for dairy farmers.
Parametric insurance specialists Skyline Partners have developed and computed the product, which is being distributed by co-developers NFU Mutual along with Gallagher. The product is 100% underwritten by Markel.
